Plastics Awarness Event at GROW this Sunday

Green Sangha and the 5 Gyres Institute are hosting an educational event at GROW Art and Garden Center at Tam Junction in Mill Valley on Sunday, February 12, 2012. Local activists and plastic pollution experts will present information on the effects of single-use plastics, recycling myths and truths, the inherent dangers of a throw-away society, and healthy alternatives to plastics. Mill Valley City Councilwoman Stephanie-Moulton Peters will speak on her city’s response and leadership in the drive to Zero Waste.

Ecology of Leadership: Free Introductory Evening at GROW this Wed.
