All sign-ups go though Big Dog Surf Camp directly. Camp meets and picks-up at our Surf Shop daily throughout the summers.
We grew up surfing with Ian "Big Dog" Glover, who has run his camp out of our shop for the last 10 years. A lot of campers call this their favorite week of the year, and if you follow them around for a day you'll see why. Its a swirl of laughs, life lessons, making new friends, outdoor immersion, side trips to swimming holes and ice cream shops, and tons of beach time.
Some kids go every week the whole summer, and then just sort of turn into coaches once they get old enough. The coaches are some or the areas best surfers, lifeguards and EMTs, all still as psyched on surfing as the kids.
